ENCOURING CITIZENS TO VOTE! I encourage all American citizens who are above 18 years to vote. This is great opportunity to represent someone who is right for our government and he/she can present our opinions. I believe many people died so American citizens can vote for someone they think will run our great country. It's our right and our duty as Americans citizens to alteast vote for people didn't have this opportunity years back.
voting shouldnt be mandatory in the united states. think about what would happen if it was mandatory. people would be voting for the wrong reason.no on would ven try or think about who they are voting for they would just click a random person and be done. the turnout of that is not good. we could end up with a bad economy, government, and or president. do we really want that?
No, it is not mandatory, but it is a highly desireable practice.
No, it is not mandatory for US citizens to vote.
I don't think so since my mom never really voted in anything
No, voting is not mandatory in the US.
No
I don't think voting should be mandatory. People shouldn't be forced to vote. What if people think that both people running for election won't be good leaders, they would be forced to vote for someone they won't trust. What if people that are not well educated make a bad decision and the person they chose wins and they turn out to be a bad leader.
To make informed decisions when voting.
However, our society does impose obligations on citizens when the success of our nation is at stake.
The use of force or coercion to prevent citizens from voting(:
what to eat at the voting parties and who would get what as a job
The inclusion of raw data should not be considered mandatory.
They should care about the voting because it helps you understand what is happening in the Australia, and if you vote you can help change different things to make Australia a better country. And if you start to learn about Australia political system now you can get a closer idea of how the government in Australia works and what is happening.
Citizens think about political issues critically ---> Citizens make informed voting decisions.
The constitution provides for voting all ready. It is a RIGHT and if someone doesn't use the right frankly they have no right to complain about the outcome of an election. They gave away their right pure and simple. In this last election 42% didn't vote so if they had wanted a different outcome they should have voted.
Citizens think about political issues critically-> Citizens make informed voting decisions
The Voting Rights Act of 1965 was passed to protect the right to vote. Federal observers would be placed at the polls to make sure all citizens were not prohibited from casting a ballot.
Citizens in a country make up a counrty.Hence, their role is very vital. They contribute immensely by providing ideas, and even giving in to the ideas the government enforce.
