These are two different processes. Diffusion is when two substance mix together, evaporation is when a liquid turns into a gas. If diffusion where to effect evaporation it would be to do with changing the properties of the liquid being evaporated.
Evaporation is not identical to diffusion.
It depends. If the ice crystals are forming, then yes, the water is freezing. If you just mean ice crystals, just there not doing anything, then no.
No. Water freezing into ice is a good example of a "phase change". Ice can melt back into water, so we know that the phase change is not permanent!
What takes longer to melt ice or freeze water?
Melting is when a solid forms in to a liquid causing it to melt. For an example an ice cube is a solid and when it melts into water it turns into a liquid. Freezing is when a liquid forms into a solid. for an example water can freeze up and turn it into an ice cube. Look i said before ice cube is a solid so if water turns into a solid it is freezing.
Moving water cannot be below freezing, because if it was at its freezing point or below that, it wouldn't be water anymore. It would be ice, and ice is not water, but frozen water.
Freezing water of is an example of physical change.
water freezing into ice liquid to solid
water freezing into ice liquid to solid
No. Conduction of heat.
The freezing of water is an example of phase change.

Boiling (or freezing) water (the change to steam or ice).
Ice cubes you use to cool your drinks after you put the water in the freezer, Ice burgs....
Ice forms from the freezing of water.
The mass of ice after freezing will be the same as the mass before freezing. The volume however, will be greater as ice than it was as liquid water.
Ice melts in water because ice is at its freezing point and goes solid. Water is not at its freezing point and is warmer that is why it is a liquid. When you put the ice into the water, the ice melts because the water is warmer which then makes the ice into a liquid. Hope it helped :)
Liquids become solids upon freezing. Most solids contract when they freeze. The expansion of water when it becomes ice is an unusual property.
