i think it is because you dont eat the intestins of the chicken, you eat the skin and meat.
No i don't think so
Chickens can be fed two kinds of feed in farms: - grain feed - industrial feed the grain fed chickens are the "vegetarian fed" chickens. These are generally healthier because naturally, chickens are "vegetarians." industrial feed often has ground up pieces of other animals like hooves and bones and other odd and sometimes unhealthy ingredients. So if you have to choice, go with grain fed chicken meat and eggs. Hope that helps!
what are the benefits of grain fed beef
The yellow skin is from the feed given to the chicken prior to slaughter. Corn feed chicken is usually yellower than mixed grain fed chickens.
No. If grass-fed cattle got any grain, they wouldn't be grass-fed then. Grass-fed beef comes from cattle that are finished on grass only, with absolutely NO grain.
Corn, barley, oats, etc., same grain fed to cattle.
yes. flour, wheat, oats, rye, and barley are the only items you shouldn't eat. Not so sure this answer is true or accurate. chickens are fed on all kinds of mixed seed and cereal feed and their eggs contain gluten. So we need a new food descriptor for eggs to say they are guaranteed gluten free.. And preferably rapeseed free as there are some (myself for one) who are allergic to rapeseed oil toxicities.
Most likely they sell grain-fed (or "corn-fed") beef.
(This is a way of feeding) - Corn fed means an animal such as chicken being fed on a corn diet. (This is a means of rearing) - Free range means an animal that can wonder relatively freely and eat it's own food.
A horse should be fed mainly hay, and only a little little bit of grain a day.Try a cup or less of grain a day.
"Free-range" animals contain more omega-3 fats in the meat than grain-fed animals
It can be fed grain but introduce it slowly and ensure it is getting other feed and is not low in calcium.
