Don't second-guess this situation. Many men "aren't there mentally". For example: Years ago my girlfriend went out with her friends (a rarity) and had 3 children. She asked her husband to look after those 3 kids. When she got home, one was playing out on a quiet street, the other was digging up the backyard and she was frantic looking for her 3 year old daughter. She found her fast asleep in her bed (her father hadn't had the brains to put her there either.) For some reason most men feel the rearing of children is up to the woman. Where they ever get these ideas from is beyond me. Let's just say for now your husband is pure darn lazy like most husbands! When I go away I feel it's always up to me to call and vice-versa with my husband. Most people do this, so you phone him. I am sure things are alright and he's wondering why he hasn't heard from you.
