According to The Bible, God, the creator has always been(Psalm 90:2) (1 Corinthians 8:6) so would not have had a mother.(1 Timothy 1:17)

There is no one greater than God. (Psalms 83:18) HE is the "source of life".(Ps 36:9)

Job 33:4; Acts 17:24, 25.

No one could have carried "... the One whom 'the heavens themselves cannot contain.." (1 Kings 8:27) (Exodus 33:20) (Psalm 100:3)

Jesus, on the other hand, was the 'SON of God"(Matthew 16:16) and was transferred into the womb of an earthly mother, by his God, his father(Luke 1:34&35)(2 Corinthians 1:3) as recorded: "You are to conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you must name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. . . . And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God." (Luke 1:31-32) Matthew 26:39; John 14:28; 1 Corinthians 15:27, 28; Colossians 1:15, 16

But Mary was chosen to be Jesus' temporary earthly mother because of her faith and devotion to her creator, (Luke 1:26-31, 37+38) and certainly did not consider herself 'greater than Jesus'. She , in fact, was one of his disciples later in life (Acts 1:12-14), and Jesus made sure someone would care for her in her old age, as he was dying.

(John 19:26, 27)

Mary, was chosen to fulfill one of many important prophecies. Joseph and Mary both, fully human, were of the tribe of Judah and descendants of David, so Jesus birth fulfilled a prophecy at: Romans 1:3 that Jesus "sprang from the seed of David according to the flesh."
