I use it in my 03 Tahoe 5.3l 198k miles shouldn't be a problem, my pressure raised it up about 5-10 psi and evens out when it warms up, but if it burns oil with lighter stuff try it, btw i'm in lower Texas so it gets really hot so i don't need lighter stuff

Some may disagree but my Chevy logs 160,000 miles and the GMC has 250,00 miles on it. I also hear great things about synthetic oil but I have never used it. Hope this helps.
