Could be a number of things. First check if its a fuel problem. Are you out of gas? Sounds dumb but I have seen this too many times before. Carefully put a couple ounces of fuel in the engine air intake. If it starts and runs for a few seconds, its a fuel problem, check clogged filter, fuel pump. Todays cars are so complicated you typically need a "Good manual" like Mitchel try your library and check the troubleshooting section. If you aren't getting any spark you've several choices, depending on the year of the vehicle. Pickup-coil, crankshaft position sensor, ignition coil.
have you tryed to change the control module under the ditributor cap, elc module, maybe its getting week, controls fire and gas
Try changing the fuel pump and if that doesnt work try the o2 sensor

It has a vacuum leak or the IAC is faulty.
Very likely it's low gas pressure or a bad coil pack. There are three coil packs on the left side of the engine. I had one go bad on my Grand prix and it had similar symptoms.
egr valve bad.
I would replace the fuel filter. It might be letting just enough fuel by to start the engine, but not let it run very long. When the engine starves itself out (stalls) a little more fuel trickles through the plugged filter so you can restart the engine.
Replace Battery/Also Throttle BodyI replaced the battery after 97,000 miles, 55 months and the same thing happened to me. I found that it only happened when the air conditioner was activated or the defrost was turned on (i.e., the AC condensor is engaged when the defrost is turnrd on). I had to replace the throttle body as its solenoid was not regulating the air intake appropriately. if it stalls and you can't restart it until 5-10 minutes later it's your crankshaft position sensor. That happened to mine.
a loose transmission or shifter rod might move the gears around a bit and make it stall
starter
check oxygen sensor or map snesor, they are notorious for going out!
Montaigne invented the "essay" as a style of writing for trying out ideas. His essays are personal reflections on various topics, exploring and questioning them in a thoughtful and conversational manner.
