based on the model number you have purchased a 1997 huskee limited edition 20 hp 42 in cut rider. I just got one myself two weeks ago as a second mower for my 4 acres. love the thing mows better than the Bolens I bought a few years ago. I have no manuals on it but can get you numbers and info on belts and blades if you need. these were sold at TSC stores and they carry a wide variety of parts for this mower on hand and can look up anything you need to know about it. hope this helps.

ere are fuses on a huskee tractor
It is not strictly legal for me to answer that.
Normally you will find three safety switches on a Huskee riding mower. There is one for the clutch/brake pedal. There is another one for the deck lever and the main one that causes problems under the seat.
Use the link below this post to get your manual.
depends on model.... around $300.00 - $500.00 usually
MTD (Modern Tool & Die)
MTD will provide it to you. Check the link below. Type in that model number and use 1 as the serial number. Pick the 770-xxxxx choice and there you have it (accept the terms.)
go to the M.T.D website, click on owners manuals, enter your model number.it will bring it up.
Huskee has been built under MTD and Murray. I don't know the exact production years for each manufacturer carrying the Huskee brand, but I think it has something to do with who gave Huskee the more favorable contract to build with their brand name. It's basically a decal treatment. They don't bother dressing Huskees up with niche options like the Cubs and Trot-Bilts at Home Depot to make them stand out from Yard Machines. So it's kind of like buying a Cadillac Escalade... basically an overpriced rebadged GMC Denali; And a Huskee is a rebadged, slightly more expensive Yard Machines. Huskee was there own company back in time and was purchased by MTD later. I don't ever rembember Murray having the Huskee name. It was a better built machine than the average MTD, but that was taken care of later. If you can't sell it under one name, change the decal...
I know that the older one that I have DOESN"T have one. It depends on the year and model. Some do, some don't. You can visually see if yours has one or not.
