Option 1: If you haven't already tried this, disconnect the ground battery cable and leave it disconnected overnight. This will give your computer ample time to power down. Once reconnection is established the following morning, most codes are reset and trouble lights will turn off.
Option 2: If option 1 fails to rectify the problem, then your next best thing to do is find a reputable body shop in your city. Since most of their extensive repairs involve frontal collision repairs which trigger airbags, they have to be able to reset bag lights to complete repairs. For this, they have diagnostic scan tools that can help you in this regard and it will be considerably less costly than going to the dealer. Hope this helps...
This should be done by depressing the lock tabs holding the connector halves together and simply disconnect the door harness from the body harness. Good Luck!
find where it's been installed (in harness) disconnect all components reattach/repair harness.
pull it out and disconnect the harness. put a new harness on so when you sell it you can out your stock radio back in.
Disconnect the device. Open your steering column and find the wire harness that goes to the device. You'll see that your ignition wire is cut, and runs to two wires in the harness. Cut those two wires from the harness, splice them back together, and you'll have effectively re-connected your ignition wire.
Follow the wiring harness from your blinker. Disconnect the factory harness from the relay. Replace with the new relay.

If it is like the 97, you disconnect the battery harness (bar that runs over the top of the battery connecting on both sides..)disconnect the terminals, remove the battery.. put new battery in and reconnect everything you just removed.. not overly difficult.. Good luck.. :)
You don't say what car, but most have a detachable connector
Take the inside door panel off disconnect the wires for the window and door locks(if you have power windows and locks). Unbolt the door at the hinge and your good to go If you are swapping your door with a used door that has a good wire harness, when you unbolt the door at the hinge, pull the wire harness from the "a" pillar and disconnect the two plugs there. No need to disconnect each plug then re-run the harness through.
