Just had (Nov 2008) my key and fob replaced by dealership in West Lebanon NH. Cost $52.90 for the Key Blank, $64.30 for the FOB Transmitter, and $25.50 labor to cut key and program the fob, for a total of $142.70 plus about 1 hr drive time and wait time at the dealership.
Hi there, You take the key fob to a Jeep dealer and they will programme the fob to your car. If you have memory seats etc, then you must state to the dealer wether you wish for the fob to activate memory 1 or 2 otherwise you take a chance on which one the dealer programmes it to. If you are looking at original fobs, the black one is memory 1 and the grey one is for memory 2. I believe it costs £30 for the fob to be programmed by the dealer. Hope this helps you, Chris
