Europe's Jewish population bore the brunt of this horrible event. Holocaust also affected Roma, political dissenters, priests, people declared a Slavs, gays, Polish Christians, Russians, Catholic priests, and a number of women spies were sent to concentration and labour camps.

Estimates range to about 5 million non-Jewish people died in the Holocaust. Anyone deemed sub-human could be sent off to the camps.
