the Korean civilians living in the Korean War was hard, during the summer it was all dust and the heat. ohh and the bitter cold of winter when the men slept with their boots on and there weapons nagianst there chest just waiting for the alarm to go off. it was hard, really hard.
The children had to stay home from school, and the rich people often had their homes taken away. Many people were put into a whole and then shot. Planes would swoop down to shoot and drop bombs at random. Any men spotted would be forced to fight in the war, and women had to wear men's clothes to avoid being raped. About 670,000 Koreans were forced to Japan to work hard, dangerous labor. 3 million Koreans were killed. 33,741 Americans were killed fighting for Korea.
In short, they had very hard time to live. According to my grandma(she was lived during Korean war^^) every time she moves from place to place to escape from army who is trying to kill every one, the place she rested had bomb and exploded. Millions of people had to divide to get move to south or north. Because of the Korean war, lots of children lost their parents.
