The ignition coil is located inside the distributor. First of all you need to remove the spark plug wires on the distributor making sure that you mark them to their current positions.. Next you need to remove the three 8mm screws that hold the distributor cap in place to gain access to it. Once you do that you need to remove the distributor rotor and the wires going to the coil assembly being careful to remember or mark where they go so that you can place them back in the appropriate locations once the new coil is in place.
