I don't know for 100%, but I don't think a 1992 anything was required to have an o2 sensor, the later, 1995 and up do though, per OBDII standards and all.
I am only making a slightly above guess, as I have a 92 ranger, and have not been able to find anywhere that 1) it has one, 2) where it is located either.
may final answer:
it doesn't have one due to it being a PRE-1995 vehicle.
If you, or anyone else know other wise, for a 92 ford ranger, PLEASE add here!
Thanks, Cheers, and good luck!

Yes it does have a sensor, right before the catalytic converter, heated 3wire 15 cm long with butt type connectors all from 87 on up to 2010. placed at dec. 14 2009.
Some of the 1992 Rangers had the camshaft position sensor on top of the engine in the same hole where the distributor used to be. Some Ranger engines did not use a camshaft sensor at all.
The exhaust manifold
just before the catalytic converter
How do you change oxygen sensor in 1992 Toyota corolla? Is there a model engine 4A-FE without a oxygen sensor?
The O2 sensor is in the rear exhaust maniford. It can be changed from above, but you'll need to use a mirror or work by braille.
The 1992 Ford Ranger did not come equipped with daytime running lights.
I'm taking a guess here that it possibly has 1 - the 1991 and 1992 Ford Explorers with the 4.0 L OHV engine only have 1 oxygen sensor
Next the transmission passger side exhaust down tube after the (Y) in the exhaust tube.
how do you replace oxygen sensor of 2001 bmw 318 ci es
There is only one oxygen sensor on '92 Saturns and it is located on the exhaust manifold right under the hood.
A wiring diagram for the oxygen sensor on the 1992 Civic can be found at your local auto parts store. Haynes sells a manual for the 1992 Civic with a diagram included in it.
