Governments from alll over the world either donated money, military support so as to build houses. Countries such as Germany, Italy, Wales.
Also, non-governmental organizations helped out such as UK, China, Netherlands; they provided help via their Red Cross and by donating money via organizations.
Hope this helps a little! :)

The long term effects of Earthquakes are:The damage to buildingsDisease would spreadCrops and Livestock would be destroyed, so people would lose money
loss of income, illnesses would have spread throughout the town
There isn't that many long term responses, the main ones being keeping food coming in from other countries so they can survive also medical bags and filters so they are drinking clean water, this stops them from getting the disease cholera, which kills many people in poor countries (LEDC) that have suffered from earthquakes.
Something happened

the long term effects are seismic waves which are little earthquakes after thr REAL earthquake; they will go on for who knows how long....the short terms the length of the REAL earthquake the truth is no one knows how long it will take to recover from Haiti it might take years it might take more or less.......just help in whatever way you can!!!
People in Haiti are in such bad poverty and cant afford anything while so many people died and are still suffering.
it depends on whether it is a LEDC or a MEDC earthquake
i need to know that too ! lol
DEATH

everything
Chronic is long term (from chronos- time) Acute responses are quick.
homlessnes starvation no population distrobution and gastrointestinal desisas
The Hanshin earthquake brings on the same short-term and long-term effects as most other natural disasters. The areas affected will see a strong influx of income as the area rebuilds, and in the long run, this income will provide a more reliable, productive economy.
it would be things like clearing it up finding injured people and taking them to shelters to keep warm the long term responses are rebuilding and clearing the whole area
