The 2004 Saturn ION has hook-end wiper arms. Look for a little tab where the wiper blade is inserted into the hook, press it and pull wiper blade out of hook. See the wiper blade installation video below for hook-end arms.

I presume you are wanting to change to wiper blade assembly and not just the rubber wiper blade. I change them out once a year with ANCOs purchased at where else? WalMart. Look at where the wiper assembly fits into the arm.[ The crook.] The assembly has a tab that pushes in to release it. The assembly will slid out of the crook. The new one simply slides in and locks. It is much simpler today than in the past when each manufacturer had something different.

You should be able to pop off the 2" plastic gommet from the rear wiper assembly. After doing so you will be able to fully bend the wiper arm and replace the blade. Make sure to reuse the two metal bars for the new blades.
