Screw her mom. If she let Mommy effect her decision, then she didn't care about you as much as you thought, and you don't want someone that shallow. Sure, Mama is important, but at some point, a person has to make their own choices. She isn't at that point, (and therefore, is too immature for a real relationship,) or she is and just didn't have the balls to tell you, so she blamed Mom.
Move on, find someone who can look past the surface.
