Could be the rotary switch for the airbag inside the steering wheel. This was a 'recall' fix on the Scenic, so your dealer might fix it for free. Hope the guy below is joking!
Sounds like the racket pinion steering. _____________________________________________________________________________________ Could be the CV joints, with window down @ low speed listen for noise coming from wheels
