The low pressure side has the larger of the two sets of metal lines with the smaller of the two fittings. They are designed so that you can only hook up one way. Most can taps will only hook up to the low pressure side. Make sure of your system capacity before you start. Overcharging the system won't make it run any cooler and is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!
