This sounds like sciatica. It can be really scary and bothersome, but it often goes away after a week or so. It can come and go. It is usually due to a pinched nerve in the lower back, a nerve that leads all the way down to the foot. Taking care of tight muscles with nice warm baths, a good mattress and pillow, and massage might help straighten things out. If it is chronic (keeps happening), talk to a doctor or nurse practitioner.
All piercings hurt, there is always discomfort with any piercing and lower back dimple piercings are subject to rejections and infection more than any other piercings.
Yes. I had back pain and ice helped a lot.
The Sciatic Nerve is located in the lower back , runs through the buttock and down the lower legs - see related link for a diagram .
you might be pregnant
The sciatic nerve in humans begins in the lower back and runs through the buttock and down the lower limb. As well as this it goes from the top of the leg to the foot.
Could be sciatica. You would need to have your doctor confirm this though.
No
It sounds a lot like sciatica....
Often there is no physical difference in the appearance of a person with Spina Bifida Occulta than any other person. But sometimes there may be a patch of hair on the lower back, or a "dimple" on the lower back that is an indication of Spina Bifida Occulta.
my dimple piercings are so swollen i have a long bar in them but my cheeck is to swollen nd im scared what do i do ?
Sciatic is not a word--but sciatic nerve is. The sciatic nerve is a large nerve that starts in the lower back and runs through the buttock and down the lower limb. It is the longest and widest single nerve in the body. Hope this helped!
Sometimes the only signs of it may in the lower spine area as a dimple, a small tuft of hair, or a small growth. If one has an imaging scan and a tethered spinal cord is noted, this can sometimes be a sign of spina bifida occulta as well.
