I may not be right but mostly

Maya Angelou wanted to tell her story and inspire people. Even thought she had a bad child hood she ends up happy. Her parent send her and her brother Bailey to live with their grandma in Stamps, because her parents are devoring and they dont want the kids there. She tells about when she lived in Stamps and when she went with her mom. Her moms bf raped her. But she sees how she isnt the only one with a bad life, and those people are happy. So she has the hope of being happy in the future, too. Then she moves back with her grandma in Stamps again. And she just wants people to know even though people put u down. You get right back up and walk. like in "I will rise". And the segregation.
