Maxima 2000 water pumpcan you get it from the autoparts or is the best from dealer?

I bought one from advanced auto. It claimed it was better than oem, blah, blah, blah. Long story short, it makes this whirring sound since it was installed 2 years ago. I can't say that one from the dealer would be better, but the auto parts place one stinks as far as the noise. Though it does function properly.
