Clumps that resemble blood (like the kind you get on your period) may just be excessive blood that did not come out during your cycle. However, If the clump was discolored (white or gray) then there is a possibility that it is a miscarriage. You need to see your doctor if there is any sort of discoloration of the clumps.
If you are pretty young, then this could be totally normal. Teenagers can have a lot of changes in their periods - sometimes they come very early or very late. They can also have some periods with lots of clots and tissue and some with just dark blood and some with almost nothing. Stress can also make your period late. This would also be a good question to talk to your doctor about.
Possibly, but you might be having your period. Go and see the doctor or midwife

The bleeding you experience during a miscarriage is notyour period. It is bleeding due to losing the baby.
Miscarriage within the first month will simply look like a normal period. The most common cause of thick, clumpy menstrual blood is not drinking enough water/fluids. When the body is slightly dehydrated, the blood (in veins, arteries, or in a nosebleed or menstrual blood) can appear thicker. If you've had children (or have had an abortion), the bleeding can be clumpier. Make sure to have a GYN exam and tell your doctor. Most times, though, the tissue clumps are normal rather than indicating a problem, unless some tissue was retained after a pregnancy or abortion. If the bleeding is very thick or very clumpy, sometimes doctors might recommend a D&C to scrape out the contents of the uterus.
Yes I'm sorry to say but it was a miscarriage and that big blood clot that came out was most likely baby. The same thing happen to my friend because some girl kicked her in her stomach and she had a miscarriage. She said she had a big blood clot come out when she had her miscarriage. I had a D&C at 9 weeks after we found out the baby was no longer alive. The D&C removed the Fetus but not all of the "material" so, two days later I had HORRIBLE cramps and huge Clumps fell out of me. The clumps were almost as big as my fist. This happened 4 or 5 times. So, unless I was having Quads, I don't think the Clot was the baby. Doctors say the fetus is usually grayish tissue, and some people say they could see the baby. It could also be that you were ovulating and a period took place, but also, yes it could have been a miscarriage...If the clot was a light gray-or-off-white color and a little transparent...
