Islam is a system from which all principles of democracy got evolved : protection of human rights . giving right of property and nice treatment for ladies , rights of prisoners , respect for all religions , protection of faith and worship places of all religions , helping the poor ,widows and orphans , technical education and employment chances , strict accountability , protection of children ladies and elders of all religions , decisions based on consulting the public , provision of justice , laws equal for every one , no special status for rulers or officials , excellent relationship with neighbors and there is a long list . Any thing wrong being followed or practiced is not a way of life in Islam. Social security and respect for senior citizen are also principles from Islam.

Additional viewIn addition to the above, which I fully agree upon, Islam guarantees for the basic four democracy principles; namely:
  • Freedom to chose their leaders, having accountancy on them, and controlling their doings.
  • Equality in front of the law and constitution irrelevant to their faiths, hierarchy in the society, gender, races, or colors.
  • Freedom of expressing their opinions and freedom of debate.
  • Equal rights of work, education, and other civil rights.
