The Greyhound 6.5 is the same engine as the Blue Max line Harbor Freight sells. They are Chinese Honda clones manufactured either by Xiangdong or Lifan who produce engines for Honda. The parts for these engines are interchangeable with the Honda GX200 engine which means there are a lot of aftermarket performance parts available. The engines are of good quality and boast a little more low end torque than comparitively sized engines. They are getting great reviews in the gokart racing community.
I've had great luck with the 13hp (GX390 clone) engine and will actually be purchasing a 6.5 hp engine from HF this week for a mini-chopper we're building. Whether you buy from Harbor Freight, on ebay, or from some other source, you can't get a better engine for the money.
Go for it!
Yes you can use 2 cycle oil to mix with the gas for a mini pocket bike.
Regular gas should be fine
gas
Try draining the gas tank completely and then Put new gas in with fuel stabilizer. Then spray starter fluid (wwd 40 works) into carburetor and start engine!! I hope this works if not then you might want to take it to a professional.
40:1 40 parts being gas. I have a 49cc mini bike.
Buy a new one.
samething it does on every other gas engine feeds the engine
I have a mini bike electric and i got it for $250. If i were you i would get a electric and get a gas which cost around $500 for the bike, helmet, and the gear
remove the governer, or adjust it. this will cause it to be unrestricted and will go alot faster, however it could also cause the engine to blow if you over rev it for an extended period. just be careful with it and listen to the sounds of the engine and you will be fine.
More than likely no. But it depends on a few things. Give it a try. Start it and then disconnect the battery.
You can increase the CCs of a bike by making sure the engine is working properly. Check the timing and gas consumption. You can also replace crank seals and valves to increase engine power.
if it is a 50cc engine or less no u do not need a licence
