The first thing that you will need to check will be the condensers fan capacitor.................
Under the dash (passenger side) beside ac fan, hard to do good lock
No. The condenser fan is for the A/C(right side). The radiator fan is on the left.
No - not unless you are running the A/C. One fan is for the engine and one is for the A/C. Each has its own temp. sensor.
number of things. you could have a bad condenser fan motor. bad contactor or a bad run cap for the condenser fan motor.
it should blow directly to the condenser
to splite the phase
My refrigerator was not cooling. I've replaced a brand new condenser fan motor and both the fans are working fine. Tech suggested that it might be lown on freon. Can you tell me how can we figure out whether it is low on freon? Also, what else might be a problem. Compressor seems to be working fine. I've SAMSUNG refrigerator
You can either unplug the connectors and send a separate power and ground to the fan or you can scan the vehicles computer and see if they are working but if they are original, then after 9 years you should replace them anyway........
It's in several places. The compressor is on the driver's side in front of and mounted to the engine; the receiver/drier is even farther toward the driver's side and farther forward. The evaporator is inside the dashboard behind the glovebox; the condenser is in front of the main radiator. The computer controlling the temperature and fan speed is behind the radio, and the computer controlling the compressor clutch is also behind the glovebox. ~Pengauin
The condenser fan is more likely to run when the car is idling. So if it NEVER comes on when idling you definitely have a problem. If the condenser is not cooled, then your compressor could get overloaded. It may be a problem with a relay that is preventing the fan from running - or some other issue.
heat rejection through converctional or static means.(fan or air cooled condenser)
