Unlikely, the MK1 is four stud, a mk2 uses 5 stud
Its the mk2 late 1989-1999 Kind regards www.mr2-Ben.co.uk Toyota mr2 mk2 New & Used Spares
The cooling fan light on your dash refers to the engine compartment cooling fan on the passenger's side of the vehicle, not the radiator cooling fan. In my experience with my '85 Mr2, that fan doesn't do a helluva lot, cuz mine only works if I unplug the temp sensor (sensor's dead and I don't wanna replace it) and I've never had a problem with overheating.
Use a flathead and wedge it out
An MR2 MK2 1990
when sitting in drivers seat, it is in the kick panel near your left foot behind where the front hood latch is and up slightly higher. its a small fuse box, one of 3 on the mr2 mk2
cooling fan relay has gone bad or coolant temp sending unit is bad
probably by removing the plastic cover under the front of the car and reaching in from there
Sounds like the speedo cable may have snapped www.mr2-ben.co.uk Toyota mr2 mk2 New & Used parts
Yes, the mr2 mk3 wheels fit all years 2000 to 2007. They will not fit the mk2 model which has a 4 stud pattern rather than the mk3 5 stud pattern.
According to My local Toyota Dealer. For a Mk2 non turbo like mine it's 12V 65AH. Currently less than sixty quid from Toyota. Don't know if the turbo is the same.
For some reason, when Toyota designed the electrical system for the AW11 the system was wired so that when the alternator is about to go bad, the Charge, Cooling Fan, and Brake light will light up on the dash. Sometimes it will only come on intermittently, and then will stay on all the time. Sometimes it just comes on out of the blue and stays on. Either way, the chances are that the alternator doesn't have much life left in it.
