Check for a blown fuse.
The engine will turn over with spark or no spark. Your's turns over I assume and has no spark. Check the coil pak. or ign. module if equipped.
The firing order for your engine is 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2 the spark plugs on the driver's side of the engine are 1,3,5 and 7 starting from the front of the engine. The passenger side is 2,4,6 and 8 ----------------------------------- The distributor turns clockwise
If the Bravada is not starting but the engine turns over, check for spark at the plugs. If there is no spark the ignition system will need troubleshooting to find the problem.
Can be a number of reasons just to name a few for no spark; 1-you have a bad coil, battery can be weak, a loose ground connection in the starting circuit, bad wires. these are just some reasons for no spark
Try starting the engine, pull the spark plug out and see if it is wet with gas, if it is you might not have any spark(possible from a fouled spark plug) or it might have low compression, put the plug into the spark plug boot and set the tip of the plug onto something that is metal on the engine and turn the engine over. you should see spark, no spark=ignition problem. If the plug is not wet the engine isn't getting any gas and you have a carburetor problem.
motorcycle turns over but no spark
you have either no gas or no spark maybe both
that is unusual, your spark plugs and spark plug wires need to be changed if its a gas engine.
every engine needs fuel, air, and spark. which is it not getting?
distributor. If you hear any knocking or ticking, that's another clue.
By means of the spark plugs firing which ignites the fuel air mixture. This explosion drives the pistons downward and turns the crankshaft. The crankshaft turns the transmission which drives the wheels.
Check for fuel and spark.
