One of three things:
1) The battery has a dead cell and will not hold a charge - have the battery checked free at a local AutoZone or similar auto parts store.
2) The alternator and/or components is/are faulty and will not provide a charge - have the alternator checked free of charge (same place as above).
3) The belt is loose or worn - if loose, tighten; if worn, replace.
bad battery
Defective alternator or bad battery.
Have the alternator tested.
The battery is defective and has a dead cell. Replace the battery.
Your laptop is unable to charge because of a problem with your adapter or the battery itself; try plugging out the battery and returning.
On a 2006 Lincoln Navigator : # 106 is a 30 amp maxi fuse for the ( trailer tow battery charge relay , trailer tow 7 - wire connector , battery charge )
I do not know if this is your problem, but on my 1993, this meant I needed to charge the battery or get a new one. Once I finally bought a new battery, this stopped.
your alternator is not charging your battery..u need to get a new alternator
Well i would suggest connecting the battery...
Repair the alternator to battery connections or replace the battery.
I'm not a mechanic / technician but if your battery is overcharging or the headlights are too bright so people are flashing their headlights at you when you are just using low beams ( it sounds like a voltage regulator problem )
If the alternator is good and the battery does not charge, then the battery may be bad. There could be problem with the electronics. You will need to take it to a place where they sell batteries. They have equipment to check out the battery and the wiring.
