You need to check your throttle position sensor to see if it is good should be 1k Ohms at rest and 4k to 6k ohms at WOT if it is anywhere above 6k ohms replace it asap
It is the part under the plastic cover on the left front of the engine. it has the throttle, cruise and transmission shift cabless hooked to it
Adjust the Throttle Possition indicator.
easy! i have a 89gt 5.0. look on top of your throttle body. the t.p.s is the only sensor on top of your throttle body. itll have two screws and orange and green wires coming out of it. t.p.s is about 30 bucks. if its bad your 5.0 should be idling irraticaly
If the engine works well (starting, idling, etc.) other than hesitating when the gas pedal is depressed, try checking/cleaning the Mass Air Flow sensor with CRC Mass Air Flow sensor cleaner (or similar product) and/or check the throttle cable linkage for slack.
racing throttle response .... gives you more acceleration when you are at your top speed... it releases throttle and give you some more acceleration.. i am one of the user of the bike and i have experienced it too
It sounds like the Throttle Position Sensor needs replaced.
You have a throttle possition censor and an idle air control valve. Both are pretty inexpensive and would recommend replacing both so it saves you some time. That should take care of the problem
110cc med size Try a 200cc Yamaha Blaster with a throttle limiter. After the rider becomes more experienced remove the limiter.
try the vac. hoses off the throttlebody it could be disconnected at the fuel pressure sender it has a t tha goes to the map sensor to then check the throttle possition sensor located on the throttle body just some known problems.
The point midway from no throttle to full throttle.
It is on the throttle body.It is on the throttle body.
try opening the throttle... i know of the phenomenom that you are talking about but have not experienced it enough to experiment with solutions
