It could be the ignition coil or maybe you need a new starter. Also you might check the fuse (don't know which) under the hood. There is also a collision switch located inside the truck on the driver's side.

Of course ,first check the fusebox. If all fuses check out ok, I think the headlight switch is bad. I had a problem with indicator lights and my running lights were not working.(Tail lights,). I tried everything and finally replaced the headlight switch and that fixed it! About $25.00
These lights have 2 different "lights" in each of them. This occurs frequently. Change out the bulb and everything will be working fine once again.

Have you checked the fuses? This is more than likely the problem. Car off, pull out fuses, one by one. If link is broken inside the fuse, replace that size fuse.
I had the same problem on a gmc truck. The problem was an in line fusable link
The problem probably wasn't the bulb. The problem is the fuse is blown and needs to be replaced and the problem will be resolved.
If you here a clicking sound when you activate the directionals or 4-way flashers but the lights still don't work, you need to replace your lighting control module.
