if you have to do it each and every time you turn it off, then battery is first thing i would consider.. If it keeps charge for day or so you may want to look for shorts. Auto zone can tes the battery for dead cells...

Check to make sure the battery cable connections are clean and tight. Have the battery load tested. Test the charging system output. It takes at least 13.5 volts to charge a 12 volt battery.
