My 8th grade semi-formal is coming up What is a checklist you could use before you go?

Well, remembering back to my 8th grade dance last year, here is what i wanted to have ready before i went.
- Make sure you have your ticket, school id, money, or anything else that you need to just get in to the dance. Hate to get there just to find you forgot the most important thing.
- Have a comfortable outfit to wear. Since your dance is semi-formal, I'm guessing you can wear nice pants and shirt or a skirt if you choose? If so, make sure you wear a skirt or pants that won't fall down or slip when you dance. Same with the shirt. The last thing you want is a wardrobe malfunction.
- Be comfortable with your hair. Make sure, whatever do you decide on, that it will stay up and won't get in your face when dancing.
- Brush up on your dancing, if you do dance. Just listen to a favorite song and dance around your room with the door closed. If your not the dancing type, just listen to some upbeat music and get the hang of bopping to the beat.
- Have fun and relax. Everything will go great if you just act normal and get your groove on! Hang out with people you enjoy and dance like you do, whether that be head bopping or getting way down.
- PS- If you get asked to slow dance or just dance by a guy, then don't freak out. Just go out, enjoy yourself, and have fun! Good luck!
