My 92 corsica wont start it died at a stop sign and now it will just click. i changed to a new battery and it still just clicks. what can i do to it to fix the problem?
Most commonly, when you get a single click when attempting to start the engine, the starter solenoid or relay is faulty.
you need a new battery. if battery has been replaced and this still does not solve the problem, you must have had the bad battery for too long and it ruined the If the new battery doesn't solve the problem you can have check the battery cables, make sure they have a clean tight connection. Also the problem could be with your starter also.
If the starter is "clicking" then check the battery to make sure that is has enough juice to turn the starter. If the battery is good. It could be your starter solenoid is bad. Most of these are built into the starter nowadays. You will have to have the starter changed. I am betting on the battery especially if it is older. Another culprit could be your alternator failing to charge your battery.

Why does your vw golf mk4 key only unlock your drivers door now when it use to open all with two clicks on the key you now have to unlock the boot and other doors from the drivers door can you reset t?
1996 Saturn SL won't start and new starter still clicks so tried jumping it but still clicks finally connected positive from booster battery directly to starter and it started what's wrong?
2000 ford expedition will not crank has a clicking noise It clicks only one time Changed the starter one time started two regular times The third time went back to the same clicking mode?
have you replaced the battery? It sounds like an electrical problem. The battery needs load tested... which can be done for free at autozone, advance auto parts, etc. Also check the starter soleonoid... should be located either on passenger side of engine compartment or on the firewall somewhere... simple/cheap fix if that's the problem
If when you start your car there are multiple clicks and it does not start but if you try it again it will start what could be the problem?
== == I have seen most times when there are multiple clicks and only catches once in a while, it usually is the starter. It needs replacement. Usually it's a fairly simple DIY job. You also do need to check the battery as stated above and possibly the alternator as well. If the car starts while the battery is hooked up and immediately dies when you unhook it, check your alternator. It should still have…
Car starts sometimes but sometimes it just clicks usually it will start after about ten tries what could be the problem?
I seriously doubt that it's the alternator that's doing the clicking. Most likely it's the starter. Check the battery, a discharged battery can cause that problem. Have the battery charged then start the vehicle and drive it to a shop that can check the charging system. Many auto parts retailers will test the charging system for you.
