Answer 1 is way off base and very gullible.
If they have been separated for two years, they should both be over it by now.
It sounds like he's still trying to get her back, particularly since he lies to your about it.
Your question answers itself as to what you should do. I can't believe you've put up with his lying and cheating [that's what it is, even if they aren't in physical contact].

What you should do is END your relationship with him RIGHT NOW!!!!!
