Where can you get help with ptsd?

The Department of Veteran's Affairs has a National Center for PTSD. If you are having a crisis, they ask that you call 911, or for a private PTSD counselor you can call 1-800-273-8255. The National Center for PTSD webpage has an entire section for where to get help, how to find therapy in your area, how to file claims, and a lot of other good information. If you just need another combat veteran to talk to, you can call 1-877-WAR-VETS twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. The calls here are confidential. They are there to help you vent, or to give some advice on how to readjust to being back home again.
