Here is what you do.
1. Turn off your Nintendo DS, and plug in the Action Replay DS cable into the computer USB and the Action Replay DS.
2. Turn on your Nintendo DS and click on the wrench in the bottom right hand corner, and make sure "Auto Detect PC" is checked. Then save it by clicking on the floppy disk icon at the bottom middle of the screen.
3. Click on the mouse icon in the upper right hand corner of the Action Replay DS main menu.
4. Run Action Replay DS Code Manager.
If none of this works, make sure you plug the USB cable into the port you placed it in when you install the Action Replay DS Code Manager. In other words switch USB ports.
Hope this helps :)
DoofAndPuss-- Still won't work :(
After having the same problem, I've searched the hole internet and tried everything to connect the AR to the damn f...in Code manager software.
And finally I'll fixed the problem. I'ts a driver problem from windows. It don't recognize your NDS-Link (USB)
Try using this:
Re-install the Code Manager Software from your region from here:
http://us.codejunkies.com/support/index.aspx
After installing, don't erase the folder you just downloaded from this site (with the codemanager software inside)
After connecting the AR to your PC (inside your DS and DS switched on) a window should appear. If not, go to your Device manager and select nds-link manually.
Now windows wants a driver.
Choose "select from list" and then browse to the folder you've downloaded (code manager)
Select the whole folder and hit the continue button.
Now the Driver should install successfully.
After that turn on your ds with the AR inside and select the mouse button on the touchscreen
Then open the code manager software and "waiting for ds" should dissappear after a few seconds and your AR shows in the list.
Finished: Now you can transfer all the codes and update your AR!
Good luck
Tobi
(sorry for the bad English, I'm from Germany)
In that case, you may have entered the wrong game ID.
== your action replay is broken the same thing happend to my action replay you will have to get a new one sorry =( yea sorry it happened to me too the exact same thing == Updating your Action Replay to the newest version might help, and try a different game ID.
your game is not registered in the action replay
Because I hooked it up, but it keeps saying "Waiting for the DS" thing. I have no idea if it was the way I downloaded it or... When or how do I hook it up?
If your console is not updating and action replay well you console is toast and i think it was the action replay because my brother's action replay broke and luckily did not break the ds console so i would consider get a new action replay and exchange your ds for a used at gamestop. Hope I helped
well im still figuring out that problem with mine too but get your manual for action replay and it will tell you at the very end of the book exactly what your problem is and it will tell you step by step how to fix your problem but believe me its difficult
quick answer: stop using Action Replay
You need to reset the Action Replay settings by resetting the Factory Settings. Steps (plz have your action replay in the slot plus the game) 1. hold down A+B when the game is turned off 2. turn on the game while you hold A+B down 3. hold down select+start when the loading screen comes on 4. add your game
no if it keeps doing that then it is probaly broken
i really need to know
There is no such action replay code for this that I am aware of. I have searched for hours and have had no result. I know how your feeling, I just want every unown but the same one keeps popping up.
