This might be from unproper jetting of the carb. It is most likely running to lean, this is why the pipe has turned yellow. When and engine runs lean it tends to run hotter
how to set Yamaha pw80 carburetor
Loose intake boot or the boot may not be on straight. Happens everytime.
29 -35 mph with the right exhaust. That is possible with even a restrictive exhaust and small carburetor, as set up for child drivers. A larger carburetor and more open exhaust system will allow for speeds exceeding 70 mph, particularly when coupled with aerodynamic chassis types.
If the carburetor is cleaned on the Yamaha Bruin 350 and it will idle but stall when given gas, it could be that the float is sticking. The carburetor may also need to be adjusted by turning the adjustment screw so that it is not getting too much gas when revved.
can i have a Yamaha xs 850 carburetor assembly diagram
a engine backfires when there is excess fuel in the exhaust pipe causing it to explode with the heat... this normally occurs when not al of the fuel is burned in the engine and it is no a bad thing
my g2 runs full when you step on the pedal and is very touchy when going slow when looking for a ball and sometimes when its is warmed up it will backfire first before it starts running.
