My ac froze up is there a smaller belt for 4.9 cadillac with no air?

I had this question and here is the answer I done it myself. I looked everywhere and could not find anyone that new. So hope this is some help to someone. I got mine was Master Pro brand # K060620 it is 13/16" X 62 5/8 it is a tight fit and the only thing you do is after Power Steering go to top of water pump.

You will have to loosen one of the components to replace any fan belt. If the belt goes to the alternator. That is usually the one that has the tensioner setup on it. The other common one is the power steering pump. If your belt goes from the crank to the air conditioner, there has to be an adjustment bolt on the AC to tension the belt. You will also have to loosen the mounting bolts.

If you will check, the smaller of the two belts is a belt that only connects your Harmonic Balancer to the Air Conditioner Compressor to turn the Compressor Clutch when you turn the AC on. If you'll notice, I bet that 25 miles to the shop was a little hotter than normal wasn't it?
