Okay, female brains work different than male brains but if I was in this position I'd do the same thing. Their not used to being around girls. You know guys. They're all gross and weird when girls aren't hanging around. He doesn't want his friends to mess up your relationship. He cares about you. The best thing is to ask him yourself. If he says you don't want to talk about it don't push him to far but make sure he understands you really want to know.
