My cat is breathing hard and I'm home alone cant drive and know nothing about cat health What should I do ASAP?

I am currently having the same problem, well, sort of. Last Saturday my Merlin Kitty started breathing a bit deeply and rapidly. I have since taken her to the vet, he didn't tell me what I wanted to hear. I know how scary this can be. I have had my sweet for 11 years. Breathing rapidly is a very vague symptom. Your baby could simply be stressed out. Does it seem your cat is trying to lay low and in a straight line? This would be due to him/her trying to align the airway to make it easier to move air. This is a serious sign of respiratory distress. If this is going on, call a taxi and hit the vet pronto. I hope all turns out well, Best of luck!!!
