If you just got her then she doesn't trust you. If you got her a few weeks ago maybe you can gain her trust. You have to go around your house and show her dark secluded places, and tell her she can have her kittens there. You must gain her trust, otherwise she will disappear and come back with kittens in 2 months!
You can tell she is getting close to giving birth by her showing signs of discomfort and pain. You can also get a box around the size of a 19" TV make a small entrance and place bedding inside. Put it in a high place or a dark secluded place. Good Luck!
