My computer's monitor goes into standby when i play arma and can not be turned back on unless i turn the PC off an you help?

Sounds like the screen saver is coming on and messing things up for your game. Turn off the screen saver and see if that helps.

Without a monitor, unless you are very intuitive, your computer is no good. The monitor allows you to see the GUI of your computer. And at this level it's safe to say CLI is a GUI. How do you expect to accomplish anything on the computer if you cant see what your doing? But in saying that some people (myself included) have multiple computers/servers without monitors, we just enable RDP and then you can use maybe 10 different computers without ever leaving your laptop and saves having to buy and house all those monitors aswell.
