It is safe to try and lose weight in any circumstance. To be honest it depends on how much you weigh altogether. No running! No jogging! Power walking is perfectly acceptable or just plain walking. Also it is nice to get some fresh air so try and go for walks outdoors instead of a treadmill, this will also keep your mind off eating heaps. It is safe to try and lose weight in any circumstance. Ask your doctor. Presumably not because it has been there for three hours, so its lost or gained several properties needed to test accurate pregnancy.
I would not worry. I am also 22 weeks pregnant and I have not gained any weight...I'm actually 9lbs lighter than I was prepregnancy. And I didn't lose my weight due to morning sickness either....never had it. I'm a lil chubbyto begin with so my doctor is not concerned....because the amount of weight needed to gain is all based on your BMI. I have a friend that only gained 6lbs during hers and another that lost 30lbs during her pregnancy. My doctor said that the baby will take what it needs from me. As long as you are taking your prenatal vitamins and eating like you should, everything should be just fine. Your metabolism changes during pregnancy....plus how active you are has lot to do with it as well.
How much weight you gain during your pregnancy depends on how much you weighed prior to getting pregnant. If you were at a healthy weight prior to getting pregnant, you should gain 25-35 pounds during pregnancy. This breaks down to 1-5 pounds during the first trimester, and approximately 1 pound a week for the remaining duration of your pregnancy. So, at 18 weeks, you should have gained 6-10 pounds by now. If you are overweight, you should only gain 15-25 pounds during your pregnancy, if you are obese, you should only gain 11-20 pounds. However, if you are underweight, you should gain 28-40 pounds during your pregnancy. If you are having more than one baby, the amount of weight you should gain is higher. Your doctor will be monitoring your weight gain. If you have any questions or concerns, make sure you discuss it with your doctor at your next appointment.
Yes - take a home pregnancy test AND talk with your doctor
You should have a pretty noticeable bump during the fifth month. You should have already gained at least twenty pounds. Every woman is different during her pregnancy.
In the book "Breaking Dawn" by Stephenie Meyer, Bella Swan's weight gain during pregnancy was not explicitly stated. However, it is mentioned that she gained a significant amount of weight due to the rapid growth of the baby.

They are gained.
Possible, but you don't give enough information to tell. Take a look at the calendar and determine when your last period was and when you last had sex. I would suggest you do an over the counter pregnancy test and make an appointment with your doctor.
no not really. if in the entire 9 months of pregnancy there was no weight gained i would say that the baby would not be healthy. unless the mother had enough weight from the beginning to accommodate the baby's nutritional needs. Yes you can have a healthy baby, I lost 30kg in my pregnancy due to morning sickness and my baby had a score of 10/10 when born, this time I'm pregnant with my 2nd and the doctor told me it will be ok to lose a little weight this time, not too much and not too fast. Good Luck.
Yes it may I am not a doctor but i gained 35kgs due to it
