I had a similar situation with my pit bull puppy. the first couple days i had him he was okay he then began destroying everything. Putting your dog in a crate is usually a good way to keep it from tearing up or eliminating in the house. putting your dog in the crate as a way of time out when it messes in the house. Since most dogs wont mess in the area they are confined to unless its an emergency. You should take your dog outside so it can relieve itself there. maybe changing its diet is a last step. you can also try only keeping food out when your around. youll have try mix and match these ways to find the best cure for your dog. it wont be quick or east but it will work
