My dog needs a growth removed from his gum line.Has anyone had this done with their dog and have an idea of what the oral surgery would cost?

No one over the internet can answer this question properly. You need to take your dog into the Veterinarian's office and get an estimate from him or her. The Vet will probably need to sedate the dog so that costs depends on the size of the animal. So there will be a charge for an office call, sedation and the actual cost of surgery to remove the growth. You should have your dog's teeth cleaned at the same time (if needed) as would not be that much more and is very important to their health.
