I think your neighbors know nothing about dogs. First of all, your dogs probably bark because they want to protect you or they just want to play. My dogs do it too. They shouldn't complain because it's a common thing for all dogs to do. Most dogs bark at strangers, in fact it's their instinct. That's true. Dogs normally always bark when they see someone else because they're either curious about them, or they want to protect you. And yes, my dogs do the same thing. Your neighbors need to get ear plugs or something because all dogs have a sense of curiosity in them.
That's really easy all you have to do is say look there's a UFO outside or say that someone is hurt.. hoped that help :)
In referring to an actual dog, if it is barking, that's as mean as it gets, it won't bite. When applied to a person, if someone is talking tough, they can't back it up with action.
To visit someone else's zoo on tap Zoo, click on the circle on the bottom left corner of your screen. There willl be 8 icons, click on the one that says social with people on it. There, there will be 4 icons. Tap on the one that says visit neighbors. You may have one person on there... For example, Rachel McCarthy is one of mine that showed when I first started. you can tap on her, or, tap on "Random Neighbor" which will take you to a random neighbor. Login to Facebook and see if your Facebook friends have a Tap Zoo and earn more neighbors. (HINT: for some animals, you must have a certain number of neighbors to purchase- so go onto Facebook and make them your neighbor.
The food or the shoe? It is generally accepted that the food got its name becasue at some point someone threw one to a dog to keep it quiet. Various legends say it was either Confedrate soldiers feeding corn biscuit rations to their dogs, or farmers to their dogs, or a chef somewhere to his dog. Whoever first coined the phrase, it stuck. The shoe got its name from the food. A sales mamager for the shoe company was treated to some hush puppies by a friend and was told they got their name for being able to quite barking dogs. Since "barking dogs" was a slang term for sore feet, the saleman git the brilliant idea to call the shoe Hush Puppies because they were soft and comfortable, thereby able to quiet "barking dogs".
If someone says to put it where the goat can get it, it means to put the object in the range of the goats reach. This means not to high above the goat or outside of the area that the goat can move to.
To be complaining in a whiny fashion; irritable and unreasonable behavior.
"Barking at a knot ..." would be similar to saying someone is not doing a particularly good job at something they have undertaken.

Ring barking is a highly skilled job for someone who knows their craft. A tree can be ring barked to control growth and encourage fruiting but, a complete circle of ring barking will kill any tree that it is done to..

Though some breeds are hardier than others, I would never recommend to someone to keep their dog as an outside dog. Outside dogs are rarely well socialized and can suffer health problems from the exposure to the elements. A sick, unsocialized dog can pose a threat to your family and your neighbors and is a liability.
One can find hotels in Barking at Premiere Inn. Someone can then choose their date of arrival, nights, rooms, and number of people. The room comes with a complimentary breakfast.
You would check your local government as to Animal Control. Failing that you could call the local police, but don't use 911 unless someone is in danger from the dog barking.
"Whoring" means selling yourself. If you're an "attention whore," you'll do anything for attention. That would include whining and complaining, yes.
Correct!! If your neighbor can hear your stereo through the walls, you are playing your music too loud. Get a pair of wireless headphones instead. Not every person appreciates the same genre (style) of music that you may like - to impose your music upon someone who does not want to hear that, is an invasion on their privacy.
