How about just dealing with it as a normal thing. Ask her if she has her stuff and tell her where the new sheets are.

Why should you do anything? A person's love life is their own business.
you should talk to your friend before you do anything you should see if she is alright with it first and if shes a good friend shell say its fine but if not you shouldn't do anything, if you do you could loose your friend.
You can talk to a friend about anything! If they are a true friend, they will keep it with them! if they are your friend, you two should have some common interests.
A friend should shut up when he/she does not have anything meaningful to say. Talking out of point can be hurtful.
Be fair about it and tell your friend how you really feel about him/her. You do not have anything to loose. Should your friend reject a relationship, accept it and stay just friends.

pads for when she gets her period wink wink
It won't hurt anything.
You can eat anything besides milk, peanuts and
