Isignia is also made under the Hisense brand name...if you still have the original remote, the instructions on how to program it can be found in the "Universal Remote Control User Manual" which can be downloaded from:

The original remote will only accept 3-digit program codes....the device will be TV1 on the remote and the code that worked on my tv which is the Insignia IS-HDPLTV42 is 589. Just in case that doesn't work...try the codes listed for Hisense under the "Brand of TV" tables listed in the Universal Remote Control User Manual.
