My mom was abusive to me but never hit me but says untrue things about me. She said my brother and I got into a food fight. I want to report my mother to social services for verbal abuse?

- Grow up! You and your brother at your ages are certainly not angels and never were meant to be. You did not mention your father. Your mother loves you whether you believe that or not, but she has her own financial worries; trying to give you both a roof over your head; food in your stomachs and teaching good moral standards so you end up with good paying jobs. Yes, mothers can get upset and perhaps pass the blame where it shouldn't be, but when you can say you have never done that to anyone you know then you can complain. Go ahead and report your mother to Social Services because you and your brother could well end up in foster care and that is no picnic! Start talking to your mom; get off your butts and do chores and try to help your mom out more. If want respect then earn it!
